A trip down memory lane.....

While we were in Looe last week we came across an old fashioned sweet shop......the Blip is of the few that we have left. We also bought candy cigarette sticks, bon bons, fruit salads, black jacks, sherbet dips and rhubarb and custard sweets. Which was your favourite as a child? Mine always have been refreshers, love 'em!!

I also remember some crisps when I was young that were shaped like piglets - very cute and very yummy. Also the puffs, they were like little puffs of air in various flavours - delicious!!

Anyway, just on a quick break from work and thought I would Blip early again. Mum is coming up from Cornwall tonight along with having to fit in a food shop. Mr G and Mum's hubby are off out to watch the football while mum is at a retirement do of a doctor she worked with = house to myself. Well, myself and a bottle of something.......

Last night we sat in the snug with a fire going (no the heating is STILL not on). No TV in there so we sat playing Boggle and reading - see, it is non stop rock n roll chez Gossage!!

Have a fab weekend all x x

PS - thanks to Blip Blog for featuring Casper *blushes profusely but grinning from ear to ear*
