Red Light, Green Light

Blueberries not only grace us with beautiful pink flowers that delight bees in spring and delicious blue morsels over a long season in the summer -- they also brighten dark days with their vivid autumn color.

We have three blueberry plants in our front garden and five in the back. The birds tend to beat us to the berries, as they are not so fussy about how ripe they are.
