Inception of a curry ...

Mr B is making curry. It won't be the whole curry today, though - just the fiery paste of chillis and ginger that he will mix up and store in the freezer in ice-cube holders. These little chillis looked so wonderful gleaming in the water, and I love the contrast with the outsized piece of ginger root that he bought today and that inspired him to make the paste while it was fresh.

Cheered up yet another dreich day anyway!
