I'm Ready for my Close Up!

Took a break from the computer this afternoon and sat with my tea on the deck. Several little titmice entertained me, one in particular who was really enjoying the sunflower seeds. One of the elusive blue jays also got close enough for a decent shot. But, it was the chickadees who really put on a show! This one seemed to find just the right branch, with a nice splash of yellow leaves in the background, as if to say, "I'm ready for my close up, Mr. Demille!"

And, now back to finish off a bit of paperwork before grilling a nice bit of steel head trout for dinner!
