Evening falls in Strachur

Another dreich day redeemed by a walk - and perhaps also by having the Leica with me. I wasn't expecting the rain that began not long after we left home (didn't have the waterproof trousers, only wore the third-best-but-comfy cagoule) and abandoned the camera in the car when we set off to walk south down Loch Fyneside.

However, the rain stopped after the first mile or so, and I grew hot enough to dry the sodden breeks and begin to enjoy myself, so that when we returned to the car I took the camera down to the lochside for this shot of the remains of an old jetty - at least, I presume that's what it is - and the hills on the west shore of the Loch.
