Autumn sunset

Just back from a memorable holiday in northern Russia, where the golden leaves of autumn flamed against the grey of the sky beside the Volga, I was happy to see the last light on similarly golden trees this afternoon. It had actually begun to rain as I took the photo, but the darker sky behind the trees was a bonus as far as the photograph was concerned.
