Jack Russell and pet frog

Our seven-month-old Jack Russell pup, Pippa, likes her toys and one of her favourites is a green squeaky frog. Gill took this picture while my "bad cold" took a turn for the worse in to full-on flu. I was out of action for most of yet another sunny day until my temperature began to stabilise this evening. So the day didn't really happen for me. I watched Wales get beaten in the Rugby World Cup on TV, read a bit of my book, slept some and cracked the Daily Telegraph Crossword.

All I can say is thank goodness for buttered crumpets and Marmite, so much so, they deserve a blip.
