Aira Beck

I fancied taking some silky water shots today so I set off to Aira Beck. Tourists to the area prefer to photograph the famous view but it's narrow path is always busy and the tripod gets in everybody's way!

Just a short distance above there's a free car park and a short walk across a field brings you higher up the beck to here. Not a soul in sight!

Yes, I did the silky water shots but when it came to choosing a picture for the day I preferred the natural look of the water in this one.
