Captain's Logbook

By CaptainSensible

Nearly there.

Glorious weather today, the sun was shining, the sky was blue. There was only a hint of coldness in the air - which seemed to say to me " GET ON AND FIX THE BOILER YOU CLOT - ANY DAY NOW IT'S GOING TO FREEZE".

Oh well, it's well on the way now. I've managed to get rid of a birds nest of legacy 28mm pipe work. Old bypass systems and things have gone and it's all much simpler and neater.

It's been a bit slow going while I've been trying to figure out how all the bits fit together in a confined space. Should be finished on time tommorrow ( fingers crossed). Meanwhile photography is limited to trying to make central heating boilers look sexy. Not easy.

The next job will be to make a light box for studio type photography. I reckon it should be possible to make one out of timber batten so it folds down flat like a deckchair.
