Guardian of the Valley

I know there's been a lot of birdy shots lately but how can one go past a handsome fella like this?
Blipping off the balcony is a bit lazy I know but there were so many things to do today I didn't have time to go searching.
I wanted to get some shots of the little fire tail finches but they move so quickly they were all too blurry........I would have to sit in the long grass to get a goodun of these but I'm not that brave...ticks, snakes. leeches...not my cup of tea..talking of which................
