Autumn is definitely here. There are leaves on the ground and the sun is low in the sky. I'm really liking the long shadows it creates. We came to the caravan, just for one night. Its nice to be here so late in the season. The site is a lot quieter than it has been and most of what appear to be permanent pitches have packed up for winter. The coming cold weather is one reason why we are here. We have to work out how to prepare the caravan for its winter storage. The main thing is to remember to drain all the tanks as freezing water can prove to be very expensive. All in all the caravan has proved to be a good idea. We've come a lot more than we would have in the tent and the kids feel like they have had lots of mini holidays. Here's to next year.
