Seal at Scapa

I cycled down to Scapa pier to see what birds were around and this seal was on the slipway. I imagine it is the same animal I saw there last evening. I began to think it might be ill and noticed that some fisherman had tossed it a fish which it had ignored, but when I went back shortly after taking the photo, it had left. So that's good.

More little auks there today- now five. I wonder what the collective name for a group of little auks is. Perhaps it is 'weecow'.
