Another Day, Another Dollar

This about sums my day up. I did another long one at work and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Why? I was in charge for a change. My supervisor is on leave for a few days. It was busy, stressful and required organisation. I was reminded of the old days before I decided to do a mature age apprenticeship.

Next week I will be back to the bottom rung but that is OK. Days like this remind me that I have all the skills I need to run my own department. My time will come again soon. September 09 to be exact.

So, it was all work and no play today and tomorrow is looking much the same.

The weekend will be a different story though. Celebration coming up.
