Looking Over the Highlands!

We had quite a storm here last night and lost power from about 7pm till around 9am this morning! it went out just as i was about to turn the stove on to cook the veggies....figures eh!!! however, with some engenuity on Terry's part we managed to cook the veggies on the BBQ - we hauled out the old camp stove this morning so we could make some coffee.....just when we needed that 2nd cup of coffee....it came back on. The rest of the day was unremarkable....good - but nothing special happened, except the power went out again, around 3.30pm...while i was putting handles on mugs...luckily this doesn't require power!

We headed off for a good hike around 4pm - it was lovely! Hiked up the other big hill around here...i'm always amazed at how i would have baulked at the idea of doing that hike, at the end of the day....but once out there, it didn't seem too bad after all!
