Unusual sighting for November

Serendipity! Who would expect to see such a perfect butterfly in November. But then who would expect November to come in with sunny blue skies and temperatures in the mid-sixties? Not I! But I'll take this weather anytime...all winter long preferably.

Good news on my sister's surgery that I mentioned yesterday. It was a success. I spoke to her briefly today. She still hasn't eaten and is very sluggish due to the pain meds, but she is cancer free, and I am very thankful.
