Fungi abound

Kept noticing these lovely purple fungi all over the place on my walk today. They are growing on the verges of all the little lanes. As the council were gradually strimming all the verges today, I don't suppose there will be many left tomorrow.

Much colder today as I walked round but I did see a butterfly dashing along quite high up over the gardens.
