Meeting of minds

The factory today ,was buzzing with excitement as a result of the visit of Chris and Daniel, all the way from Ndola in Zambia ( 15 hour drive).
The picture from left shows Harisen, Steve and William of Wells for Zoe, with Chris and Daniel of Lifeline Zambia.
Their mission was to plan a working relationship on the production of pumps for their mission in the Zambian copper belt.
They came yesterday mid day and within minutes of our meeting it was obvious the we had an amazingly similar vision of what development work is all about and our methods are so similar. Their enthusiasm was infectious.
We went to the factory to see developments, but Chris has been a fan of the pump since he was responsible for installing over 60 pumps in Katete last year. He rates it the most suitable and sustainable pump available for remote rural locations as, we do, because if anything goes wrong, it can be easily repaired by the village women who use it. The success of this venture has now developed into, what we hope will be a very lasting, mutually beneficial relationship, for the people we serve.
We visited the farm this morning where Chris had so much to offer. as an agronomist himself, that Benidicto and Alfred, filled notebooks with amazing insights where we could improve our project. They head off at 5 am but we hope to send our people there to learn about the excellence of their outreach project, which we are soon to embark on here.
Thanks guys for all the help and hopefully we'll meet soon in Ndola.
