Leaf

I had this shot planned for ages, in fact the leaf has been in my freezer for weeks. My family are getting used to finding odd things in the freezer - apparently you can freeze flies and they stay still for macro shots but fly away unharmed once they thaw. I've never gone that far though, my husband would probably draw the line at that.

(did you all hear the "yet" hiding in that sentence?)

Anyway, this was the busiest day ever. Minor scalp op 1st thing, then job interview in Aberdeen (hour travel time each way), meeting at school with an autism specialist about social role play for my son then all the rest of the stuff that being mummy to two small boys entails.

This was a quick shot which hasn't quite come out as intended, i'll come back to it...

I'm knackered!
