Flamingo Sunset

A fantastic day at the Zoo today with our lovely friends Z and K and their children.
As we drove there through the fog I was worried we'd have to play spot the animals but the sun came out and it was a glorious Autumn day.
Miss E and Miss A were delighted to see each other and proceeded to immediately climb treees, pick toadstools, run away from imaginary bears, carry logs from the zebras to the giraffes, eat hotdogs, howl like wolves, roar like baby lions, kick leaves, chat with Santa's reindeers, roll down grassy banks and generally have a fabulous time!!
I was so proud of Miss E - she often gets tired and complains she can't walk any further and ends up in the pushchair. Today she ran around from the minute we got there at 11am until she had to be dragged away from the playground when it was getting dark at 4.3o. Fantastic!
And they both fell asleep instantly in the car at about 5pm and were tucked up in bed by 6pm! What a bonus for a tired Mummy and Daddy!!
