Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

High Tide

After BIG winds all night, this morning was calm and bright. This is the lowest tide of the day (9.5) and I have never seen our beach so cleaned off of logs and debris. Every piece of the kids' fort is totally gone.( It was still there in pieces yesterday!) Had to play on it now before it disappears again. You can just barely see P and Fiona I think - the sunny island in the background is Galiano Is. In the middle ground is a part of our island across our little bay. H and I were taking a walk - only found one small tree down.
A very satisfying part of today was the huge bonfire I made - got rid of much brush we've been saving for this time of year, and there was no rain or wind this afternoon. I do like bonfires!
Today Fiona outdid herself - breaking 2 bowls, 1 saucer and a jar of salsa (requiring a bandaid on her toe). -it is exhausting to watch her every second! Much easier to paint Santas in the studio with Tatum. Still, we are so ready for bed!!! Good night.
