Baptism

Great morning today in church, featuring the baptism of three of our young men. Wonderful to see them taking the decision to make a public demonstration of their faith. To explain the video camera, because the tank is sunk so deeply into the floor, if you're not on the front row you can't see anything, so we project the video feed onto a screen.

Lovely afternoon walking on Pollok Park, beautiful autumn colours, and a rather odd vision of young men and guitars and drums in the woods. My first thought was that there must be some kind of photo or video shoot going on, but there was no lighting rig, and it was getting dark by that point, so I'm not sure what on earth was happening. Looked like fun though.

Edit: Evening service included a different style of communion - taken standing in a circle, which I really liked, so good to see everyone's faces as we think about being a community in Christ.
