City of Lights

Christmas shopping today, with 'Green Day' blaring away at me the whole time. It's amazing how 'American Idiot' somehow helped me sort out presents for Mum, Dad and their present to me (a new hiking coat, I have to buy it to get the size right, they will give me a shiny cheque!) in quick time.

Anyway, as with last Sunday, I figured I'd take my inspiration for the time and use it for today's Blip; took this particular photo as the follow track played out - take it away Green Day.

Starry nights, city lights coming down over me
Skyscrapers and stargazers in my head
Are we we are, are we we are the waiting unknown
This dirty town was burning down in my dreams
Lost and found, city bound in my dreams
