... and then we went home, drenched and being pelted with hailstones.

Bleugh day today. Claire is still not well, but she''s struggling through. Today wasn't the day to go back to school, a bit more recuperation required.

The plan was to build up to a return to school tomorrow by a short walk today.

Some fresh air, clear our heads and prepare for the week ahead.

It was only slightly drizzling when we left the house with hoods up and a brolly but less than 10 minutes into the walk and we had to turn back for home.

I think winter is finally on it's way.
