Waterfoot Sunrise

Sunbeam

After yesterday's dreary weather today didn't start much brighter. However, by half eight a break did appear in the southern sky and I decided to keep an eye on it in case the opportunity of a blip developed.

The clouds remained thick over the south of Arran and there was no prospect of a sunrise. As I watched the sky though the clouds parted far out to sea and produced a lovely orange sunbeam that shone on the water. Along with the reflection of the sun on the edge of some parting clouds, which produced more orange colours and a shades of blue and mauve, it looked wonderful, particularly on the sheltered water.

This shot is from almost the same spot in front of our house as my first blip way back in August. Its a spot I never tire off.

Have a good blip day all.
