IN THE BOTANICAL GARDEN

in Göttingen I saw these white flowers in one of the warm greenhouses.
We went by train at twelve a.m. to visit the Christmas fair and as we always do walk around in the botanical garden. Even in winter we love it there. Mischa came here for the first time and liked the little hills covered with alpine plants, going the tiny paths up and down.
Our alarm went off at 6.15 a.m. to celebrate our own little solstice feast. With each a candle in hand we came at the foot of our oak and greated her and planted the lights there. A bit sleepy still but we felt happy about it. It was the first time ever and our own ritual is born.

My haiku:

No questions we hear
The sun asking us quietly
She comes and leaves us

And the latin proverb:

The glory of good women/men is in their conscience and not in the mouths of women/men.
