A bird soaring in the sunrise

Nice big.

The clouds melted away with the sunrise this morning and the skies were a deep blue the rest of the day.  It was only in the low-sixties but it was the kind of day that you fling the door open and let the sunshine warm the room.  

We got a little wrap up for the month today and we've had twenty days of temperatures below average during December. (In 2010 we had 20 days over seventy.)  

On January 1 we may be above seventy degrees for the first time this winter.

I guess I have something to look forward to in the new year.  I've already decided on my New Year's resolution, but I'm not ready to share it.
