That's Enough Of That Weihnachten Malarkey

And so they've set about dismantling the Christmas Market. It was quite sad to walk around it this afternoon. It was also quite disturbing to see someone blowing his Dudelsack* in the centre of Wiesbaden. I'm not a big fan of the Dudelsack except for maybe this band.

Had my interview at the Arbeitsagentur this morning and that went as well as these meetings ever go. I did, however, get a compliment on my German.

Which segues neatly into other exciting news, I sat my on-line B1 equivalency test and came away with 99%. All I have to do now is keep practising and maybe I'll score the same when it comes to the exam I have to sit in June.

*Dudelsack is the German word for bagpipes (something I have mentioned before but this is for any new readers) and is a word that deserves wider currency.
