Santa & The Massive Beer Can

We won this way back in June (the beer not the chocolate santa) and it is now time for it to be breached. It holds 5 litres of Beer. However, we've never opened one of these before and I thoroughly expect to lose anything between 1 and 2 litres in a L&H best intentions sort of way.

Today was a quiet day. No venturing out. Just another few hours of learning German (and noticing a bit of confidence).

Tonight we're cooking our organic, free-range, sorry-it's-dead Chicken. looking forward to it - we're trying out a Cous-Cous stuffing and our roast potatoes are Chilli and Turmeric Roast Potatoes. Our Brussel Sprouts have been cooking since June in accordance with my mother's recipe of cooking anything that might have Vitamins in it. At school I was voted the boy most likely to die of scurvy.

And I'll take 10 points from everyone who read the word "scurvy" and thought of pirates. So, 100 points for me, Dignified.
