ironic

I am not a fan of "slogan" t-shirts, or t-shirts with band's names on them.
I don't think I have ever owned a t-shirt with a musical artist's name on it.
But I took a fancy to this one, several years ago, again like yesterday's "Lego frame" purchase, in New York.
On wearing it for the first time, this drunk New Yorker says to me," Yes you do."
So the stereo-typical analogy of Americans not getting irony is true.
