Day eight: Hue

A bit rainy today so planned visit to all 16,000 square meters of the Citadel / Imperial Palace stopped short. Instead did mini-tour including feeding the largest and hungriest carp in the whole world. This photo does not do them justice: 2000 dong-worth of pellets and some of them were actually out of the water with food lust. I imagine they would have dragged us in for something more sustaining if we'd not taken the precaution of being almost 2m tall. Good planning there.

We rather let ourselves go thereafter with beer at lunch, more beer, pizza for dinner (I am going to food hell for that crime against gastronomy) and then pool, and more beer, with Aussie tourist folk.

Tomorrow's train to Hoi An may be a little trying.
