A Normal Sunday Morning

After yesterday's fall, I was glad to find everything was as normal this morning. No black eye, no bruised face and no rips on the coat, just a slight headache and sore bits along my cheekbone. The glasses of course, were still broken!

Another normal thing is that I'm down the Ullswater valley, this time with Chippy. It wasn't a promising day as we set off but we went anyway. I'm glad we did, it's nice to get out, especially as it wasn't raining.

This view is looking south to High Hartsop Dod past Arnison Crag. We had a look down at the Glenridding Pier and were delighted to watch a flock of about 80 Barnacle geese fly over to join a raft of 60 or more Canada geese on the lake.
