Summertime

Still in the height of the Kiwi holiday season, families are flocking to our beaches and rivers. I'm not one for crowds and always manage to find a quiet spot to sit and contemplate. Mum was with me today and this is one of the scenes which came our way as we sat and chatted.

A gentle warm seabreeze, a summer tipi (also tepee and teepee) and a quiet trot - Summertime.

Another quick tea tonight - beef chow mein all cooked in one pan, tastes delicious and very few dishes, summertime.

9PM: A quake just came through - didn't like that one! Didn't hear it come and felt like my hole seat just dropped, like a wheelie chair going down, paused and then the shake and rumble followed - creepy!!!
