wander, stumble, wonder

Leaving

This month a fair number of people are moving to the mainland. They're going to be doctors, psychiatrists, ministers, learn about ministering, and a few other things. It's pretty sad to be losing everyone, but also exciting to see everyone heading off to new adventures and next stages. In a few weeks my accessible friendship groups will have significantly shrunk, it'll be time to make new friends, expand my own horizons. And visit Melbourne of course.

So when one of them says 'come for coffee today', you can't say no. That's how I ended up at Villino with a group of friends, drinking tea, enjoying the 30°C temperatures. Villino is one of Hobart's best coffee shop, and although it's tiny there's always people you know there. They specialise in coffee, but as a non-coffee drinker I always enjoy a good pot of tea. Or chai latte.

Things are going to be different soon, but it's all just part of life hey?

Meant to be 33°C tomorrow, but also windy. My friend from Austria arrives in the afternoon, so I'm thinking maybe the beach near the airport beforehand. 'Welcome to Australia!' all covered in sand and salt. That'll be a nice authentic welcome. :D

Sunday
Friday (I've now culled niece R's ten squillion shots, here's my favourite)
