Ahoy!

This is one of the few structures that is to remain on our water front. Presently it is surrounded by rubble. Nearby, the rather less enchanting Olympia Leisure Centre still stands and is 'open for business as usual'.

Traffic is diverted through increasingly complicated routes causing disruption and confusion. Signs with drawings remind us of how it will look when building is completed in 2031. Slightly disconcerting given that by then I'll have reached my three score years and ten!

The plus is that we eagerly await the V&A which is coming to town!
