Almond Valley

Despite a longish lie, we headed out for a family day to Almond Valley Heritage Park. The weather wasn't great but it was good to get out (we really don't do enough ourdoorsy things with H). We all had a good day, and there was plenty to do - museum, farmyard animals, giant rabbits and ducks, soft play, nice lunch, outdoor playground, trampolines, and H's favourite, a huge bouncy inflatable pillow. There were tears and tantrums when we had to drag her off that eventually, but she was in serious need of a nap so we called it a day and headed home. We will definitely be back again soon.

This was followed by a lovely roast dinner and a fun bathtime before a tired H finally went to bed (the earlier nap never happened!)
