AFTER ONE NIGHT THE ICE

wonders had grow enormously. The sun was shining and Mischa and I we made the same walk as yesterday. I knew we had to go back there and see what miracles we would come across today. Because of the frost around the little waterfall there were heaps of iced grass, twigs and leaves too.
We stood in bewilderment and I made photos, applying I thought what I had learned from yesterday's experience. Till our fingers froze again.
We walked back along the Weser and crossed it to visit the Carolinum. We had seen there some exhibitions in the big diningroom and with all our courage put together we went to ask if Mischa and I later too, could have an exhibition of our photos. We had to wait for some time but eventually the "Hausdame" came to us and welcomed us enthousiastically. If we had only come two days ago Mischa's photos could have shown there, the planned exhibition was cancelled because of illness.
In the meantime a painter from Höxter was asked and would bring his paintings this afternoon. If and only if he would not have enough paintings Mischa could use the space that was unoccupied. Or, if he brought enough, she would see if for the months July till September there was a possibility. And consequently my photos could be planned for 2013!!
Taken aback we walked home, full of awe and wonderness. The lady had been so welcoming and full of charm, we could not have anticipated for that.
She told us where the squirrels along the Weser lived and that they gathered walnuts in the autumn there.

My haiku:

The unexpected
Is hidden behind the wall
Climb high and higher

And the Chinese proverb:

When a wall is cracked and lofty, its fall will be speedy.
