Fog On The Forth

Have loved looking at all the blips and photos of the layer of fog that has been 'sitting' in the Forth for the last few days. Has made it look like the two bridges are floating. Very cool.

I took a few of the bridges from what I am pretty sure is the highest point of Dunfermline, up near Townhill. Normally great views over to Edinburgh but not on a day like today! Still I really liked all the shades the fog was making.

The crane you can see here is the largest in the UK, The Goliath, and is being used to build the aircraft carriers at Rosyth Dockyard. This wind turbine you can see was recently erected at the FMC factory in Dunfermline. It is HUGE and dominates the skyline from lots of different viewpoints of the town. I am not a NIMBY, I appreciate we need to look for other ways to generate power, but the size of this thing is ridiculous. It better be producing plenty of power. Will blip a close up on another day.
