Light fingers

I made a flying visit to Stroud today and found the time to take a stroll down the canal towpath.

After all the stress of the past few months, combined with the pressures of city centre living, it was literally a breath of fresh air to return to the country.

It was snowy, icy and very cold, but there was plenty of picture potential. For once, I was actually spoilt for choice as to which image to post here, but I thought these icicles beneath the railway viaduct illustrated the conditions pretty well.
