Was It Really So Long Ago

B Is For ... Brrrrridge

The day was cold and the snow crisp. The river was frozen and ice crystals grew large in the overnight frost.

Behind the bridge, looking in the opposite direction is a beautiful thatched cottage, maintained, together with other surrounding buildings and farm land by The National Trust. We've been here many times before, the last blipped with a splash!

The setting sun was golden, the temperature fell and the children complained about hurting legs and a need for warmth.

I hope you like it.
