Happy 100th Arizona

On February 14, 1912, President William Howard Taft signed the Statehood Bill making Arizona the 48th State in the Union.

On that date women gained suffrage (the vote) in the state, eight years before the country as a whole because it was in the first State Constitution.

Happy Birthday, Arizona! You're growing up!
