Along The Desert Path

I came upon this weird, twisted and gnarled dead log next to a pretty little barrel cactus.

It's quite a contrast now, to see the green life next to a piece of a dead tree, but what a contrast it will be when the cactus blooms this Spring!

My computer browsers are giving me fits. I usually use Firefox, which today is completely inaccessible. Internet Explorer has an Adobe pop-up which is rendering it useless. Fortunately, I have Google Chrome installed as a back-up. ARRGGG!!
