Launch

Today was the launch for the Friends of Union Terrace Gardens referendum campaign, and here is the advert trike posed at the Robert Burns statue on Union Terrace.

Think these words from Burns' poem To a Mouse sum up the City Garden Project with its promised jobs and money very nicely :


"... The best-laid schemes o' mice an' men,
Gang aft agley,
An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain,
For promis'd joy!"

Great turn out for the launch event later on, and Sonny of Sonny and us fame was there sporting a UTG bandana while Deeside Diaries caught a nice rainbow over the Triple Kirks.
