Pathfinders

Finding a way across the Biel Burn to retrieve their stuck stick, thrown on the water upstream and coaxed down towards Belhaven. Malcolm was off to retrieve his bike whilst the rest of us had an after-lunch wander.

In the background the Isle of May and some horses on the beach.

Big Wander.

Later on we headed off on our family bike-wagon to the library and the squash courts in Dunbar. We came home with a stack of new books and extensions on our overdue loans. I read somewhere that libraries are under threat, and you know as well as I do that if someone had just invented libraries today they'd be laughed at. But here it's a busy place and the staff are lovely. I have no idea where our library tickets are, but that's no problem they just beep us through :)

Squash was fun, although the invasion of the sugared-up little girls who escaped from their party ended it prematurely.

Great day today :)
We'll probably head to Edinburgh tomorrow, let's see how we feel in the morning.
