23/29 sport

There was no way I was going to get a proper "sport" photograph today so I've taken lots of pictures of my boys playing their own versions of sports. Ben played on the Wii this morning, and Charley played with his animals. Actually played with them. Grasping and pulling - and he pulled them down on top of him! Made me chuckle :) Going to have to pin the cushion down somehow to stop it being pulled over.

Ben's been playing table tennis on the Wii. The best of the rest are over on flickr, I love his expression in this one! Pure concentrated effort!

We had somebody throw a big stone through our front window last night, just as we were falling asleep. Ben had only recently climbed into bed with us and we were finally drifting off and there was a smash and it was obvious it was our house. Steve was up like a shot going to investigate, my heart was hammering and all Ben wanted was for me to lie back down again so he could go back to sleep! The police got here very quickly, they were literally only around the corner and they said they'd seen a big group of kids running down the road as they arrived so we suspect it was them. Nobody was caught though so all we're left with is a broken window and a crime reference number. Amazingly both the boys slept through Steve sawing and screwing to secure the window up, and amazingly Charley also slept through me getting out of bed to help with the cleanup operation. Got the window people coming round later to measure up but before that...

....it's injections time. :( I'm so not looking forward to it. Five more minutes and we have to get ready to go out to the surgery. I feel sick just thinking of it, more of the logistical nightmare of both boys getting injections at the same appointment, and what to do with Charley while Ben's having his because he'll want a booby cuddle and to sit on my knee very likely. Aaaaahhhh.

Was funny getting back into bed last night. Ben and Charley had migrated towards each other while we were downstairs and Steve laughed when he saw Charley's wiggle which gets him across the bed in his sleep. Carefully moved each boy out of the way so I could squeeze in between them and then it was a quick shuffle to lie down before Charley moved over again! Boy but he moves fast.

Struggling a bit today as a result, but not stressed or shaken. Just tired!

More later. Had to put the pictures up though :)
