A Day Worth Recording

Cross

As Quakers we're not especially into religious iconography, so why is this Celtic cross on our house wall? We chose it many years ago, partly as a holiday souvenir but mainly because we particularly liked the object and technique used in making it (we bought it from the craftsman who made it). The glass sections are partly crystallised; the surface is entirely smooth.

It has somewhat failed as a souvenir as neither of us can remember which holiday it was. Probably one in Wales, or Scotland, but you could have guessed that yourselves! (We can only exclude Ireland because E and I haven't holiday'd there).

The end of a frustrating week. I've made some progress but that's mainly a case of trying a new tunnel rather than finding any light at the end of the one I was in.

Looking forward to the weekend (though the other 'responsibility' jobs are stacking up again).

Someone as yet unidentified (E denies it) added "Enjoy Life" to the list of high priority tasks on my iGoogle to-do list. Yes, ok, will do. Tomorrow maybe.
