A Day Worth Recording

Shiny

Caught, at the end of 3 years, between a warranty-not-quite-finished and an MOT-needed-this-week I took the unusual step of having the car MOT'd and serviced by the main dealer, including arranging it to be picked up and returned from work.

While the price implied the oil had been personally poured from Dartington Crystal decanters by a Sheik's harem while a troupe of the Queen's butlers dusted the gearbox... it did actually come back quite thoroughly cleaned inside and out, albeit smelling strongly of lemons.

This morning the window was still clean enough, and the car park empty enough, for this reflection shot of the office.

The time spent inside the office was considerably less rewarding, but Rob and I did get out for a decent sunny walk up the local mountain* at lunchtime. It was a bit of a toss up between the panorama from there or this shot; that the former amounted to 18MB of jpeg, and the now cooked readiness of pizza, have made the choice for me.

*OK - so it's just the spoil heap from digging out the lakes.
