Codger

What an old codger I am, sang George Melly with The Stranglers back in 1978. He then followed this up with:

What an old codger I am
What an old codger I am
What an old codger I am
... you get the picture.

It may not have been the greatest moment for either him or the band, but it was a very interesting collaboration. I think it came about after The Stranglers appeared on an excellent documentary about surrealism that the old jazzer made.

But that was then. Today, just like me, it's a battered old 45.

Still, as a birthday treat, Mo's arranged a weekend away at Loch Melfort. Hoorah!
