Helleborus

Today's blip is the Helleborus I did not blip yesterday, but yesterday the flower was in sunshine and today it looks a little bedraggled. Unfortunately after some lovely sunny weather, today it is cold and raining; this view shows the Helleborus from above to include another bud and the raindrops. I do not know whether this is a Christmas Rose or a Lenten Rose as it is neither Christmas nor Easter.

The spider, which was part of yesterday's blip has been identified by iSpot as a Nursery Web Spider (Pisaura mirabilis).

The one I posted on 22 February is a House Spider (Tegenaria); it was outside and that is where it is staying.
