Birthday cake

With all the hullaballoo last night before we left for the theatre, we did not light the birthday candle or cut the cake and the kids did not get a slice. They were much better behaved today, and so after dinner, we lit that candle, I blew it out and made a wish (for non-arguing and non-tantruming children?!!) and we all had a slice of birthday cake.
