Shiny!

Galanthus ikariae has shiny green leaves, quite different from most other snowdrops which have grey-green leaves. Native to Aegean islands it is just as easy to grow as the common snowdrop.

I found these on a lunchtime stroll in a nearby community open space, planted in a wildlife area. Careful photography may make it look as though I was away in a country woodland but actually this area is a council housing estate. You never know what you will find unless you go and look!
